Last updated: 9 September 2026
1. Scope
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all products and services offered by DBDK Technology through websites, apps, APIs, and partner / white-label platforms, including:
- BBPS and other utility bill payments
- Mobile, DTH, and postpaid recharge
- AePS, DMT, payout, and payment-gateway transactions
- Hotel, flight, bus, and train bookings
- Aadhaar, PAN, online applications, digital signature, and related e-governance services
- Bank-account opening and insurance modules
- API access, white-label licences, custom software, and professional / support fees
It should be read with our Terms & Conditions. Complaints: dbdktechnology@gmail.com · Office no 203, Possible Triangle Complex, opp Satva Prime, Mavdi road, Rajkot - 360004, Gujarat, India.
Where a bank, NPCI, operator, travel supplier, government agency, or insurer has its own refund or cancellation rule, that rule applies to the underlying product. DBDK refunds only amounts it actually controls (typically a failed debit that did not reach the provider, or a platform fee collected for a failed service).
2. How refunds are decided (all products)
We first confirm the final status with the relevant rail (BBPS, bank, operator, travel supplier, or agency):
- Success — the amount has been accepted by the provider. DBDK generally cannot reverse it. Any cancellation or refund then follows that provider’s rules (see product sections below).
- Failed — the service was not delivered. Amounts debited from your bank / UPI / card / wallet are reversed to the original source as per that instrument’s turnaround time (typically a few hours to 5–7 working days; some instruments may take longer).
- Pending / timeout / unknown — do not retry immediately. Check status with the order / reference ID. Refund or confirmation follows the final success or fail status.
A debit SMS or bank statement alone is not proof of a successful service. Status on the provider’s system is decisive.
3. BBPS and utility bill payments
Once a BBPS transaction is successful and an approval / BBPS reference number is issued, the amount is paid to the biller. Such payments cannot be cancelled or refunded by DBDK, because the bill has been accepted by the biller.
If you paid the wrong consumer number or a wrong amount and the payment succeeded, you must approach the biller (electricity board, gas company, telecom, etc.) for any adjustment. DBDK cannot reverse a successful BBPS credit.
If the payment is confirmed as failed (bank / UPI / card / wallet failure or BBPS decline), the bill is not treated as paid and the debit is reversed to the original source. Convenience / service fee for that failed payment is also reversed unless the instrument rules state otherwise.
If two successful BBPS payments are made for the same bill, the extra credit is with the biller. Refund or adjustment of the duplicate is as per the biller’s and BBPS policy. We will share transaction references to help you raise the case with the biller.
4. Recharge (mobile, DTH, postpaid)
A recharge that is confirmed successful by the operator cannot be cancelled or refunded by DBDK. Plan, validity, and talk-time disputes must be taken up with the operator.
If the operator or aggregator marks the recharge as failed, the amount (and related convenience fee, if deducted) is reversed to the original payment source. Wrong number / operator selected by you is your responsibility; a successful recharge on a wrong number cannot be reversed by DBDK.
5. AePS, DMT, payout, and payment gateway
Successful credits (with RRN / UTR / gateway success) cannot be cancelled by DBDK. Recovery of a payment sent to a wrong beneficiary depends on the beneficiary bank and applicable NPCI / bank process and is not guaranteed.
Failed or unconfirmed transactions are reversed to the original source once the bank / gateway confirms failure. Pending transactions follow section 2. Chargebacks on cards follow the card-network and acquiring-bank process.
6. Travel — hotel, flight, bus, and train
- Cancellation is allowed only if the supplier fare rule permits it. You must request cancellation through the same channel used to book (app / partner panel / support), with PNR or booking ID.
- Refund amount = supplier refund (fare minus supplier cancellation charges) minus any non-refundable convenience or service fee disclosed at booking, unless the booking itself failed.
- Non-refundable / promotional fares, no-show, and missed connections are not refunded by DBDK.
- If payment was taken but the supplier did not confirm a PNR / booking ID (failed booking), the full amount collected for that booking is refunded to the original source after confirmation of failure.
- Airline / operator schedule change or cancellation is processed as per that supplier’s policy. We will assist with the reference and status.
Supplier refunds, once approved, are credited to the original payment instrument. Bank posting time after initiation is as per the bank (typically 5–10 working days after the supplier releases funds).
7. Identity, KYC, and e-governance (Aadhaar, PAN, DSC, applications)
- Government / agency statutory fees are generally not refundable once the application is submitted to the issuing authority, even if the application is later rejected for reasons attributable to documents or eligibility.
- If our platform fee was collected but the request failed before submission to the agency, that platform fee and any unconsumed payment are refunded to the original source.
- We cannot refund or reverse a successful agency submission, biometric slot, or DSC issuance. Corrections follow the agency’s process.
8. Banking and insurance
Account opening and insurance are issued by the bank or insurer. Premium refund, free-look cancellation, or account-related reversal follows that bank’s or insurer’s policy and IRDAI / RBI rules. DBDK can share application / payment references and, where we collected a facilitation fee for a request that did not reach the insurer or bank, refund that fee as per section 2.
9. Software, API, white-label, and custom development
- One-time setup, licence, onboarding, and custom-development fees are billed as per the commercial proposal or invoice. They are refundable only if the written agreement says so, or if DBDK is unable to deliver the contracted scope for reasons solely attributable to DBDK.
- Recurring / usage charges already consumed (API calls, successful transactions, hosting period) are not refunded.
- Advance or wallet loads on a partner account may be refunded to the source or adjusted to ledger only as per the partner agreement and after reconciling pending transactions.
- There is no “cooling-off” cancellation of a live API or white-label go-live unless the contract provides one.
10. Convenience and service fees
Any convenience or service fee shown before payment is charged for using the platform. It is refundable if the underlying product fails (failed BBPS, failed recharge, failed booking, failed payout, etc.). It is not refunded for successful deliveries, including if you later dispute the bill, fare, or government application with the provider.
11. How to request a refund or cancellation review
Email dbdktechnology@gmail.com with the subject line stating the product (for example “Refund – BBPS”, “Refund – Flight”, “Refund – Recharge”). Include:
- Product / service name
- Transaction, order, booking, or application ID and provider reference (BBPS ID, PNR, UTR, operator reference, if any)
- Date, amount, and payment mode (UPI / card / net banking / wallet / ledger)
- Relevant details: biller and consumer number; mobile / operator; beneficiary; traveller names; or application type
- Screenshot of debit SMS or bank statement, and of the status screen if available
- For travel: whether you want cancellation as per fare rules, or a failed-booking refund
We will check provider / bank status and guide you. Refunds we control are initiated only after failure or eligible cancellation is confirmed. Bank credit time after initiation depends on your bank and, for travel, on the supplier releasing funds.
Typical review turnaround for a complete request is 3–7 working days for status confirmation. Actual credit may take longer as noted above.
12. Grievance
If you are not satisfied with the response, you may escalate to the same email marked “Grievance – Refund” with the original ticket details. You may also use:
- BBPS / NPCI complaint channels for BBPS payments
- Your bank’s / UPI app’s dispute process for debit issues
- Airline, hotel, bus, or IRCTC grievance channels for confirmed travel bookings
- The relevant government agency or insurer grievance process for KYC, PAN, Aadhaar, or insurance
